Your first appointment

Your first visit with us

A first appointment should feel easy – especially for children. Here is what to expect and what to bring.

How it goes

Four relaxed steps

Arriving & getting to know you

We welcome you calmly, listen and take time for your questions – no pressure.

Examination

We look at teeth, jaws and bite. The examination is painless and child-friendly.

First assessment

You learn whether and when treatment makes sense – explained in plain language.

Next steps

Together we discuss how to continue. You decide at your own pace.

What to bring

  • your insurance card (Versichertenkarte)
  • a referral from your dentist, if you have one
  • any existing X-rays or findings
  • your questions – feel free to write them down

Don't worry if something is missing – we'll find a solution together. Far more important than paperwork is that you feel comfortable with us.

For children with statutory insurance, the first check-up is usually covered – and completely non-binding. There is no obligation to start treatment.

Appointments can be held entirely in English. Our in-depth articles are in German; we're happy to explain anything from them in person.
