Frequently asked

At what age should my child have a first orthodontic check-up?
A first check is recommended at around 6–8 years, even if no treatment is needed yet. That way we can see early whether and when a correction makes sense, and plan the best time together.
Does statutory health insurance cover braces?
For children and teenagers, statutory insurance covers treatment when the orthodontic indication group is KIG 3–5. We assess this at the first appointment and explain transparently what is covered.
Do you speak English?
Yes – Dr. Moser and the team are happy to treat and advise you in English. Most of our detailed articles are in German, but every appointment can be held in English.
What happens in an orthodontic emergency?
Outside our opening hours, Potsdam's orthodontists share an emergency line: 0171 4408336 (weekdays 8 pm–7 am, all day on weekends).
